Custom furniture for a 40 sqm apartment: interior design project

In under forty square meters, every inch was utilized.
The small veranda and its light were striking; the renovation removed the central wall, creating a large space for a centimeter-perfect design.
Unifying the spaces maximized the light from the veranda.

Spaces are small but well-equipped.

At the entrance, an Alessandria bookcase leads past the sleeping area to the living zone.
Here are two Rialto bookcases, an irregular solid wood table for four, a kitchen built into an equipped Teak sideboard with two hobs and a sink, and a sofa bed that becomes a double bed.
Behind the sofa, the sleeping area uses the entry bookcase as a headboard; hinged and sliding wardrobes provide ample storage.

The choice of materials was guided by the small footprint and low light; reflective surfaces helped broaden the perception of the room. Mirrors break through walls and glossy finishes don't stop the eye, while the wood floor, kitchen, and table warm the space.

The success of this project was possible thanks to the client's trust during design and the collaboration of the craftsmen during construction.
